Aikido Shugenkai of Newark, CA
Classes are offered through the City of Newark's Recreation Department under the direction of Ricky Tam-Sensei. Classes are held Wednesday nights at the Newark Community Center & Park. You must call the city to sign up for classes or come down to the Community Center to visit, watch or register for class. Aikido for Adults
This class will be geared primarily toward beginners, but students of any level and physical ability are welcome to attend. Loose fitting clothing which covers arms and legs or a training uniform (preferably a judo gi) is recommended.

Aikido for Kids!
Children learn cooperation, respect, and self-discipline in an atmosphere of enjoyable physical activity. Participants will also gain increased selfconfidence and personal safety without learning violence or aggression. These classes are open to all levels of physical ability. Loose fitting clothing which covers arms and legs or a training uniform (preferably a judo gi) is recommended.
Day and Time: Mondays 6:00 - 6:55 pm

Misogi: First Saturday of each month (requires approval of instructor).
