Koretoshi Maruyama Sensei Seminar in Boulder, CO August 15 & 16, 2009
Koretoshi Maruyama studied Aikido under the tutelage of the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba, eventually becoming a professional Aikido instructor in 1967. He taught with both the Aikikai and Ki no Kenkyukai. Maruyama Sensei spent a period of 10 years in a temple in Saitama Prefecture, training intensively in the philosophy and practice that ‘You are fundamentally mind’. He left the temple to establish Aikido Yuishinkai, which he continues to develop and teach to this day.
